Sketch of the Day!

Here’s a little doodle I sketched out in Autodesk Sketchbook Pro to test my new Wacom Cintiq 22HD (Thanks to the folks at Carbon Computing in Toronto)! It was done a little while ago, but was a good exercise in pencil stroke control and calibration settings on the Cintiq. The new screen is good and once colour calibrated, provides decent enough accuracy for basic photo editing. The pen accuracy is definitely good, and I appreciate the new button layout and addition of menu buttons.

I am also testing the latest Mac OS X Mavericks with all my regular software and hardware, and so far everything seems to be working fine. There are a few minor blips such as scrolling stutter and what I perceive to be sluggish Finder previews, but nothing major at this point.

Are you using a similar setup? If you have any advice or questions, feel free to post a message!
