Life Drawing 101

Last week while I was sketching, I realized how infrequently I practice drawing noses. There’s so much emphasis on drawing the human body as a whole, or getting hand and feet structure correct that we overlook the nose (pardon the pun). Much like that of the eyes, the nose can help to define one’s personality.

The structure of the nose is somewhat tricky, but not overly difficult to understand. It’s best to start drawing the nose with the major shape and then break that down into the minor planes (like the ball and nostrils of the nose).

So here’s a sheet of noses I doodled up for fun! Enjoy!
